Hope Charlotte Hicks (born October 21, 1988) is an American public relations executive and political advisor who served in President Donald Trump’s administration from 2017 to 2018 and 2020 to 2021. She served as White House Director of Strategic Communications from January to September 2017, as White House Communications Director from 2017 to 2018, and returned to serve as a Counselor to the President from 2020 to 2021. Hicks began her media and communications career as a teenage model and, after college and a couple years' work in public relations, became an employee of the Trump Organization. From there, she became press secretary and early communications director for the Trump 2016 presidential campaign, shifting to national press secretary for the presidential transition team before joining the Trump Administration. Air Force One is the official air traffic control designated call sign for a United States Air Force aircraft carrying the president of the United States. In common parlance, the term is used to denote U.S. Air Force aircraft modified and used to transport the president and a metonym for the primary presidential aircraft, VC-25, although it can be used to refer to any Air Force aircraft the president travels on. Ed Jones (April 20, 1912 – December 11, 1999) was a U.S. Representative from the state of Tennessee from 1969–89. He was also the Tennessee Commissioner of Agriculture from 1949–53.
