''Mother of Mine'' ( fi, Äideistä parhain, sv, Den bästa av mödrar) is a 2005 Finnish drama film directed by Klaus Härö. The film is based on a novel by Heikki Hietamies. It received good reviews from the Finnish press, and was selected to be Finland's submission for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 78th Academy Awards. The film had its world premiere at the 2005 Toronto International Film Festival, where it finished fifth in the audience balloting. Plot The story is a discussion between Eero and his biological mother (Kirsti), where they are talking to each other and clarifying their misunderstanding and difference in present time. Eero has just come back from his visit from Sweden for Signe's (Swedish mother) funeral. The plot of the story is based on the time of the Second World War and the main character of the story is a Finnish boy (Eero Lahti). Bólu-Hjálmar
Hjálmar Jónsson (29 September 1796 – 25 July 1875), better known as Bólu-Hjálmar (after his homestead in ''Bóla''), was a 19th-century Icelandic farmer and poet, known for his sharp style and biting wit and for his mastery of the short Icelandic poetic narrative style known as Rímur. Hjálmar was born in Hallandi in Eyjafjörður. His parents, Marsibil Semingsdóttir and Jón Benediktsson, were poor and unmarried, and he spent the first eight years of his life at the farm of Dálksstaðir, where he was raised by the widow Sigríður Jónsdóttir. He had little formal education, but he soon became an avid reader of the sagas and eddas. Hjálmar married Guðný Ólafsdóttir, and the pair began farming at Bakki in Öxnadalur. In 1829, they moved to Bóla (''Bólstaðargerði'') in Skagafjörður, from whence his nickname ''Bólu-Hjálmar'' was derived. Hjálmar Jónsson (born 29 July 1980) is an Icelandic former footballer who played as a defender. During most of his career, he played for IFK Göteborg in Allsvenskan. Club career After playing for Icelandic clubs Höttur and Keflavik, he joined Swedish club IFK Göteborg in 2002, a club he has played for since then. On 16 July 2006, he scored his first ever goal for IFK Göteborg against Halmstads BK in a league game. International career Jónsson made his debut for Iceland in a January 2002 friendly match against Kuwait. Hjálmar Jónsson (born 17 April 1950) is a clergyman of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Iceland. He is currently the pastor of the parish of Reykjavík Cathedral. Hjalmar Johansson
Carl Hjalmar August Johansson (20 January 1874 – 30 September 1957) was a Swedish pioneer diver and swimmer who competed at the 1908 and 1912 Summer Olympics. Biography Johansson was 32 years old when he competed in three different events at the 1906 Intercalated Games, firstly he entered the 100 m freestyle swimming, where he came fourth in his heat so qualifying for the final the next day, in the final there was nine swimmers and Johansson finished eighth, the same day he competed in the standing long jump event and jumped 2.690 metres to finish 19th out of 30. Finally he competed in his favoured event the combined platform diving event, where he finished in sixth place out of 24 divers. Two years later at the 1908 Summer Olympics he won a gold medal in the 10 m diving platform beating three other Swedish divers and an American in the final, and was eliminated in the heats of 200 m breaststroke.
