Hiroshi Masumura
is a Japanese manga artist. He is best known for his adaptations of Kenji Miyazawa's children novels, including his work on the anime film ''Night on the Galactic Railroad'' (1985), and for several manga series set in the fantasy universe '' Atagoul''. Several of his manga feature anthropomorphic cats as protagonists. Career Masumura started his career in 1973 at the age of 21, when he was the runner-up in the 5th Tezuka Award and subsequently got to publish his debut work ''Kiri ni musebu yoru'' in ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'', still using the kanji version of his name (増村博) rather than the hiragana one he would subsequently use. In 1975, he published a few short stories in the alternative manga magazine ''Garo'', which were his first stories set in the ''Atagoul'' universe. A utopia ( ) typically describes an imaginary community or society that possesses highly desirable or nearly perfect qualities for its members. Asahi Sonorama
is the publishing arm of The Asahi Shimbun Company, publishing books, magazines, and manga. It replaced on 1 April 2008 just after it went bankrupt. History Asahi Sonorama was created as a division of Asahi Shimbunsha on September 9, 1959, under the name "Asahi Sonopress". It was initially established to record interviews, news, crime scene investigations, and articles on a variety of topics, and then release them on tape and sonosheets in the audio recording magazine ''Asahi Sonorama'' (from whence the company got its name). While doing this, the company also began publishing other magazines, manga collections, and novels. Even though the sound quality of sonosheets was lower than that of vinyl records, the sonosheets were flexible and could last a long time. Asahi Sonorama found a market among those who could not afford the high price of LP records and was therefore able to enter the record market and compete with record companies and publishers. The Life Of Budori Gusuko
(also known as ''A Biography of Gusuko Budori'' and ''The Legend of Budori Gusuko'') is a 2012 Anime, Japanese animated film written for the screen and directed by Gisaburō Sugii. It is based on the children's novel of the same Japanese title by Kenji Miyazawa. It stars the voices of Shun Oguri as Budori Gusuko with Shioli Kutsuna, Kuranosuke Sasaki, Hayashiya Shōzō IX, Hayashiya Shōzō, Ryūzō Hayashi, Tamiyo Kusakari and Akira Emoto. The film is based on the 1932 novel by the same name by Kenji Miyazawa. Like ''Night on the Galactic Railroad (film), Night on the Galactic Railroad'' before it, the characters are depicted as anthropomorphic cats based on Hiroshi Masumura's manga adaptation of the novel.
