Henry Pike
Henry Jon Pike (born 16 October 1987) is an Australian politician who is a member of the House of Representatives representing the Division of Bowman, Queensland, for the Liberal National Party of Queensland from 2022. He sits with the Liberal Party in federal parliament. Early life Pike was born in Canberra on 16 October 1987. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in architecture from the University of Canberra and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Queensland. He worked for the Property Council of Australia prior to his election to parliament, as a senior policy and communications adviser and later as director of media and communications. Politics Pike was a federal vice-president of the Young Liberals in 2013 and Chair of the Liberal National Party Metro South Region Branch in 2021. The House of Representatives is the lower house of the bicameral Parliament of Australia, the upper house being the Senate. Amanda Jane Stoker ( Fell; born 30 October 1982) is an Australian politician who became a Senator for Queensland in 2018 until 2022. She is a member of the Liberal National Party of Queensland (LNP) and sits with the Liberal Party in federal parliament. She was appointed to the Senate after the retirement of George Brandis. Stoker held the ministerial portfolios of Assistant Minister to the Attorney-General, Assistant Minister for Industrial Relations and Assistant Minister for Women in the Morrison government. The 2022 Australian federal election was held on Saturday 21 May 2022 to elect members of the 47th Parliament of Australia. The incumbent Liberal/National Coalition government, led by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, sought to win a fourth consecutive term in office but was defeated by the opposition, the Labor Party, led by Anthony Albanese. Brisbane Airport is the primary international airport serving Brisbane and South East Queensland.
