The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is a database of name and locative information about more than two million physical and cultural features throughout the United States and its territories, Antarctica, and the associated states of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau. Helix is a city in Umatilla County, Oregon, United States. The population was 184 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Pendleton– Hermiston Micropolitan Statistical Area. Oregon Route 11 is an Oregon state highway that runs between the city of Pendleton in eastern Oregon, to the Washington border south of Walla Walla, Washington. Pendleton is a city and the county seat of Umatilla County, Oregon.
