Hans Dahlgren
Hans Eric Albert Dahlgren (born 16 March 1948) is a Swedish politician and former diplomat. A member of the Swedish Social Democratic Party, he served as Minister for European Union Affairs from January 2019 to October 17 2022 under Prime Minister Stefan Löfven; he retained the position in the Andersson Cabinet. Career Between 1997 and 2012, Dahlgren held various high-level positions in Sweden's diplomatic service, including as Swedish representative at the United Nations Security Council (1997–1998); as Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York (1997–2000); as State Secretary for Foreign Affairs (2000–2006); as Permanent Representative to the UN in Geneva (2007–2010); and as Ambassador for Human Rights at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs (2010–2012). Minister For EU Affairs (Sweden)
The Minister for European Union Affairs is a cabinet minister who is part of the Swedish Government and appointed by the Prime Minister of Sweden, Prime Minister. The minister is directly under the Rosenbad, Prime Minister's Office and is responsible for overall questions about the European Union, such as the strategy for growth and employment, the financial perspective, the Lisbon Treaty and the anchoring of EU membership. Andersson Cabinet
The Andersson Cabinet (Swedish: ''Regeringen Andersson'') was the Government of Sweden following the resignation of Prime Minister Stefan Löfven and the hasty election of Magdalena Andersson as his successor. It was expected to be a coalition government consisting of two parties: the Swedish Social Democratic Party and the Green Party. In a late turn of events after the confirmation vote, the Green Party left the government cooperation due to the government's budget proposal failing in the Riksdag. The cabinet were originally planned to be installed on 26 November 2021 during a formal government meeting with King Carl XVI Gustaf, but Andersson decided to resign due to a precedent regarding changes in a government's composition; this happened just seven hours after the vote in the Riksdag. Pierre Schori
Jean-Pierre Olov Schori (born 14 October 1938, in Norrköping) is a Swedish diplomat and politician. For many years he was international secretary in the Swedish Social Democratic Party and a close assistant to the Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme. He assisted Palme in the Socialist International Movement and took part in the struggle against the fascist rule in Greece, Portugal and Spain. Schori is among the editors-in-chief of '' Tiden'', a theoretical journal of the Social Democratic Party.
