Hala Torwar
The Central Sports Centre Torwar (formerly known as Hala Torwar, commonly referred to as the Arena COS Torwar) is an indoor arena in Warsaw, Poland. It opened in 1953 and seats 4,824 people in the stands, with up to an additional 1,480 seats available to add on the floor. It is located adjacent to Stadion Wojska Polskiego and is primarily used for popular music concerts, ice hockey and other indoor sports, and it is the home of the hockey team UHKS Mazowsze. Torwar Hall hosted the 2001 Saporta Cup final in which Maroussi BC defeated Elan Sportif Chalonnais. On 22–28 January 2007 the Hall hosted the 2007 European Figure Skating Championships and the arena hosted a Preliminary round group of the EuroBasket 2009. Iron Maiden are an English heavy metal band formed in Leyton, East London, in 1975 by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris. The 2000–01 FIBA Saporta Cup was the thirty-fifth edition of FIBA's 2nd-tier level European-wide professional club basketball competition. It occurred between October 17, 2000, and April 17, 2001. The final was held at Hala Torwar, Warsaw, Poland. CIG De Malley
Centre intercommunal de glace de Malley (abbreviation CIG de Malley or CIGM) was an indoor arena located in Lausanne, Switzerland. It was primarily used for ice hockey, and was the home arena of the HC Lausanne from 1984 to 2017. It was demolished in April 2017 to be replaced by the Vaudoise Aréna which opened in September 2019. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Lessdress is a Polish glam metal / hard rock band originally formed under the name Ferrum in Warsaw in 1984. Lessdress is arguably the most successful glam metal band from Poland, having played the largest hard rock and metal festivals in Central Europe including the Przystanek Woodstock festival and opened for among others Def Leppard. Their first two albums are recognized collectors items fetching hundreds of dollars on eBay. Due to high demand, the band reformed in 2007 and their debut album Dumblondes was remastered and re-released the following year by the Australian label Suncity Records.
