Hafan y Môr (formerly the site of Butlin's Pwllheli) is a holiday camp located near Pwllheli in Wales. It is currently run by Haven Holidays. Pwllheli
Pwllheli () is a market town and community of the Llŷn Peninsula ( cy, Penrhyn Llŷn) in Gwynedd, north-western Wales. It had a population of 4,076 in 2011 of whom a large proportion, 81%, are Welsh language, Welsh speaking. Pwllheli is the place where Plaid Cymru was founded. It is the birthplace of the Welsh poet Albert Evans-Jones, Sir Albert Evans-Jones (bardic name ''Cynan''). Pwllheli has a range of shops and other services. Butlin's Pwllheli
Butlin's Pwllheli (latterly Starcoast World) was a holiday camp located near Pwllheli in Wales. The site is now used by Haven Holidays for a caravan park and has been renamed '' Hafan y Môr''. When originally opened in 1947, it was named Butlins Pwllheli, but in 1990 was renamed ''Starcoast World''. Butlins During World War II the Admiralty, who had already taken over his camp at Filey, asked Billy Butlin to construct two new camps; one in North Wales and the other in Scotland. Butlin found 150 acres of farm land on the Llŷn Peninsula in Wales. The camp opened in 1940 as HMS ''Glendower'', an overflow training camp to HMS ''Royal Establishment''.The National Archives, Kew. Haven Holidays is a chain of holiday parks in the United Kingdom. It operates self catering static caravan holiday parks with many also including touring and camping facilities. Butlin's Ayr was a holiday camp located near Ayr in South Ayrshire, Scotland. When originally opened in 1946, it was named Butlin's Ayr, but in 1987 was renamed Wonderwest World. It closed in 1998 and re-opened in 1999 under the management of Haven Holidays who renamed it Craig Tara. Llannor is a village, parish and community located on the Llŷn Peninsula (Welsh: ''Penrhyn Llŷn'') in the Welsh county of Gwynedd. Llanystumdwy
Llanystumdwy is a predominantly Welsh-speaking village, community and electoral ward on the Llŷn Peninsula in Wales. It lies in the traditional county of Caernarfonshire but is currently administered as part of the unitary authority of Gwynedd. It is not regarded as being part of Llŷn, but as belonging instead to the ancient commote of Eifionydd on the Cardigan Bay coast, where it has its own beach.
