Hōmura Uta
is the second studio album by the Japanese rock band Mucc, released on September 6, 2002. It is the first album to be released by their sublabel Shu, under Danger Crue. ''Hōmura Uta'' was reissued two times, with the 2004 version reaching number 48 on the Oricon Albums Chart. Mucc re-recorded the entire album and released it as on August 9, 2017. Overview ''Hōmura Uta'' was released on September 6, 2002, as the first album by Mucc's record label Shu, a sublabel of Danger Crue. The album cover was illustrated by manga artist Junji Ito. The first pressing includes two discs; the second of which contains two additional songs and a 24-minute comment on the album. ''Hōmura Uta'' sold out quickly, and the following month a reissue was released on October 18, without the second disc but with the first one enhanced with the music video for the song "Zetsubō". Mucc
is a Japanese visual kei Rock music, rock band, formed in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1997. The classic line up of Tatsuro (singer), Tatsuro on vocals, Miya (musician), Miya on guitar, Yukke on bass, and Satochi on drums was solidified in 1999 following the departure of original bassist Hiro. After 24 years, Satochi retired from the music industry in October 2021, leaving Mucc a trio. They have released 17 studio albums, with 2020's ''Aku (album), Aku'' being their highest-charting. Although predominately a heavy band both lyrically and musically, Mucc is known for switching between music genres and styles frequently. Oyoge! Taiyaki-kun
is a song by Japanese singer Masato Shimon, released by Canyon Records (now Pony Canyon) on December 25, 1975. The B-side "Ippon Demo Ninjin" was sung by Japanese folk singer Kenichi Nagira. However, the label claimed that the song was a children's song because the song was used in Japanese child television program ''Hirake Ponkikki''. On the Oricon weekly chart, it became the first single to debut at number one in the Oricon history on January 5, 1976, and stayed there for 11 consecutive weeks. It surpassed the sales of "Onna no Michi" and eventually sold over 4.53 million copies, becoming the best-selling song in Japan. This record was certified by Guinness World Records. Tatsuro (singer)
is a Japanese singer and songwriter. He is best known as lead vocalist of the visual kei rock band Mucc since 1997. Tatsuro began a solo career in December 2021 and simultaneously released the albums ''= (Equal)'' and ''Hikagaku Hoteishiki'' the following year. Both reached the top 35 on the Oricon chart. His third album, ''Colors'' (2024), became his highest-charting solo release to date when it reached number 29. Early life Tatsuro was born in Mito, Ibaraki on August 21, 1979, as the youngest of three kids. His family home doubled as a hair salon, and each of his family members is a hairdresser. The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Oricon originally published LP, CT, Cartridge and CD charts prior to the establishment of the Oricon Albums Chart on October 5, 1987. The Oricon Albums Chart's rankings are based on physical albums' sales. A Digital Albums Chart based on download sales was established on November 19, 2016. is the third studio album released by Japanese band Mucc on September 3, 2003. Released by Universal Gear, it is their major label debut. ''Zekū'' reached number 17 on the Oricon Albums Chart. Recording and release In 2022, guitarist and principal songwriter Miya recalled that recording ''Zekū'' was painful as they were in the studio until 5 a.m. every day. He also insisted on recording with tape, but had to splice it in so many different places because he made mistakes in his performance, that the powder came out. They originally had a ¥10 million budget, but costs went up to ¥15 million because recording took so long.
