Hélène Parisot
Hélène Parisot (born 17 December 1992) is a French sprinter. She won the bronze medal in the 200 metres and silver in the women's 4 x 100 metres relay at the 2024 European Athletics Championships. Early life She is from Saint-Affrique in Aveyron. She attended Toulouse Capitole University. Career She ran as part of the French relay team in tne 4x100m at the 2022 European Championships in Munich that qualified for the final. She placed second in the 200m and third in the 100m at the 2023 French Athletics Championships in Albi, equalling her 200m personal best of 23.26 seconds and setting a new 100m personal best time of 11.35 seconds. She ran for France at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest. She ran as part of the French 4x100m relay team which finished as runner-up and qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics at the 2024 World Relays Championships in Nassau, Bahamas. Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping and throwing. The most common types of athletics competitions are track and field, road running, cross country running, cross-country running, and racewalking. 2023 World Athletics Championships
The 2023 World Athletics Championships (), the nineteenth edition of the World Athletics Championships, were held from 19 to 27 August 2023 at the National Athletics Centre (Budapest), National Athletics Centre, in Budapest, Hungary. The tournament returned to its usual two-year cycle after the previous event in Eugene, Oregon, United States was postponed to 2022, held a little 13 months earlier due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These are the first World Athletics Championships in Hungary. The city of Budapest had previously stated an interest in hosting the 2007 World Championships in Athletics, 2007 World Championships, but withdrew and it was eventually held in Osaka. The women's 4 × 100 metres relay at the 2025 World Athletics Relays was held at the Tianhe Stadium in Guangzhou, China on 10 and 11 May. The 2025 World Athletics Relays was held at the Guangdong Olympic Stadium in Guangzhou, China on 10 and 11 May 2025. It was the 7th edition of the World Athletics Relays and the first time the event was held in China. The 2025 edition was the first edition to feature a mixed 4 × 100 metres relay. The women's 4 × 100 metres relay at the 2024 Summer Olympics was held in two rounds at the Stade de France in Paris, France, on 8 and 9 August 2024. This was the 23rd time that the women's 4 × 100 metres relay was contested at the Summer Olympics. A total of 16 teams were able to qualify for the event through the 2024 World Athletics Relays or the World Athletics top list. Summary Jamaica was the defending champions, but none of the individuals on their team returned. For returning silver medalists USA, only Gabrielle Thomas competed. Bronze medalists Great Britain brought back three Dina Asher-Smith, Imani-Lara Lansiquot and Daryll Neita. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. 2024 Diamond League
The 2024 Diamond League was the fifteenth season of the annual series of outdoor track and field meetings, organised by World Athletics. The competition was a revision to the top level athletics series since Diamond League foundation in 2010. The number of Diamond Discipline events was 32. Each meeting will host a number of Diamond Discipline events and some of these events will not be broadcast. Events losing Diamond Discipline status will feature on the World Athletics Continental Tour, the second tier of track and field meetings.
