Hélio Viana
Hélio Viana de Freitas is a Brazilian businessman and CEO of World Sports Business and HBusiness Bank. He was one of the principal authors of Brazil's Pelé Law of 1998, which abolished the “pass” which tied professional players to clubs, made possible the creation of leagues, and defined the professionalization of soccer. The Pelé Law also established the Consumer Law in Sports, obliged the accountability of managers, and created funding for Olympic and Paralympic sports. Viana also created the Indigenous Olympic Games and the Supportive Sport Program. He received a master's degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. Viana was Vice President of the board of the Brazilian National Institute for the Development of Sports (INDESP - ''Instituto Nacional de Desenvolvimento do Desporto''), the precursor to today's Ministry of Sports, from 1995 to 1998. Pelé Law
The Pelé law is a Brazilian law that forces professional sports clubs to observe business law and pay tax within two years. Introduction On March 24, 1998, Law N. 9.615/98 stipulates that by 2001, clubs can sign a maximum five-year contract with a player when they turns 16 and stand to receive only a "penalty fee" of up to 100 times their monthly wage if they leaves before then. If a player fulfills the contract without renewing then they can leave and join a new club as a free agent. The previous club receives no transfer fee or compensation in this transaction with the player's new club. The introduction of Pelé law also permits the formation of independent leagues by sports clubs across Brazil, which was a notion not previously allowed under the governance of the Brazilian Football Confederation. The Paralympic Games or Paralympics is a periodic series of international multisport events involving athletes with a range of disabilities. There are Winter and Summer Paralympic Games, which since the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, have been held shortly after the corresponding Olympic Games. Carlos Arthur Nuzman
Carlos Arthur Nuzman (born 17 March 1942) is a Brazilian lawyer and former volleyball player, having competed professionally from 1957 to 1972 and represented the national team between 1962 and 1968. Nuzman was part of the first Brazilian male volleyball team at the 1964 Summer Olympics, when the sport debuted at the Olympic Games. He later became an administrator, with the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Nelson Piquet Souto Maior (, born 17 August 1952) is a Brazilian former racing driver and businessman, who competed in Formula One from to . Piquet won three Formula One World Drivers' Championship titles, which he won in , , and , and won 23 Formula One Grands Prix, Grands Prix across 14 seasons.
