Rîbnița
Rîbnița ( or , , ) or Rybnitsa (; ) is a town in the breakaway state, breakaway Moldovan region of Transnistria. According to the 2004 Census in Transnistria, 2004 census, it has a population of 53,648. Rîbnița is situated in the northern half of Transnistria, on the left bank of the Dniester, and is separated from the river by a concrete dam. The town is the seat of the Rîbnița District. History Rîbnița was founded in 1628 as the Ruthenians, Ruthenian village Rybnytsia, its name meaning "fishery" (from wikt:рꙑба, рꙑба, "fish"). As early as 1657, Rîbnița was mentioned in documents as an important town. The Rîbnița District (; ; ) is an administrative district of Transnistria (''de facto'') in Moldova (''de jure''). Its seat is the city of Rîbnița, sometimes spelt as "Râbnița". It is located at . The district contains this city and 22 other communes (with a total of 47 localities, including small villages and hamlets): Rîbnița is located along the river Dniester, in the northern half of Transnistria. TV PMR
The First Transnistrian or First Pridnestrovian (; / , ; ), also known as TV PMR, is a public television channel from Transnistria, an unrecognized republic internationally recognized as part of Moldova. It began broadcasting on 9 August 1992 and is available in the Moldovan (Romanian), Russian and Ukrainian languages. It was established by the Government of Transnistria and the Supreme Council to replace Moldovan media that allegedly spread "distorted facts" and "blocked the transmission of reliable information about events in the region". A four-part program with the President of Transnistria Vadim Krasnoselsky published on TV PMR's YouTube channel in April 2024 featured subtitles in Romanian written in the Latin alphabet. Transnistria
Transnistria, officially known as the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and locally as Pridnestrovie, is a Landlocked country, landlocked Transnistria conflict#International recognition of Transnistria, breakaway state internationally recognized as part of Moldova. Anthem Of Transnistria
The State Anthem of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, known by its incipit "We Sing the Praises of Transnistria" and also simply known as the Anthem of Transnistria, was written by Boris Parmenov, Nicholas Bozhko and Vitaly Pishchenko, and composed by Boris Alexandrovich Alexandrov. The anthem has lyrics in all three official languages of Transnistria: Russian, " Moldavian" ( Romanian), and Ukrainian. They are, however, not all literal translations of one another. The origin of the anthem was from the Russian patriotic song " Long Live Our State", a 1943 composition that was one of the proposed songs to be the State Anthem of the Soviet Union.
