OVO Hydro
The OVO Hydro is a multi-purpose indoor arena located within the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow, Scotland. The arena was initially named The Scottish Hydro Arena after its main sponsor Scottish Hydro Electric. During construction, Scottish Hydro Electric was rebranded as SSE and the arena was known as The SSE Hydro when it opened until October 2021, when it was announced that the name was to change to "OVO Hydro", after its new sponsor OVO Energy, with a focus on making the venue more sustainable. The Hydro Majestic Hotel is located in Medlow Bath, New South Wales, Australia. The hotel is located on a clifftop overlooking the Megalong Valley on the western side of the Great Western Highway. Hydro is a town in Caddo and Blaine counties in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. The population was 927 as of the 2020 United States census. History The town was founded on August 6, 1901. SF Hydro
SF ''Hydro'' was a Norwegian steam powered railway ferry that operated in the first half of the 20th century on Lake Tinn in Telemark. It connected with the Rjukan Line and Tinnoset Line, at Mæl and Tinnoset, operating between 1914 and 1944. The combined track and ferry service was primarily used to transport raw materials and fertilizer from Norsk Hydro's factory at Rjukan to the port in Skien. It was the target of a Norwegian operation on 20 February 1944, when resistance fighters sank the ferry in the deepest part of Lake Tinn to prevent Nazi Germany from receiving heavy water. Usage The railway ferries operated a route connecting the Tinnoset Line and Rjukan Line. Hydro (fuel-station Chain)
Hydro was a chain of fuel stations throughout Sweden owned by Statoil. The chain had more than 500 stations, as well as some unmanned Uno-X stations. The company also operated in retailing natural gas, electricity and heating oil. History The Hydro chain was created in the late 1980s when Norsk Hydro bought the Mobil stations in Norway, Sweden and Denmark to transform itself to a vertically integrated petroleum company. The stations were rebranded Hydro in all three countries. In 1995 the Norwegian and Danish stations were converted to Hydro Texaco when Hydro merged its stations in the two countries with Texaco's stations. In 2007 the ownership of Hydro was transferred to StatoilHydro when Norsk Hydro's Hydro Oil & Gas, oil and gas division merged with Statoil.
