Hyderabad Deccan railway station (station code: HYB) is a second grade non-suburban (NSG–2) category Indian railway station in Hyderabad railway division of South Central Railway zone. It was constructed and earlier run by the Nizam's Guaranteed State Railway of the Hyderabad State. It is located in Hyderabad of the Indian state of Telangana. It got selected as one of the 21 stations to be developed under ''Amrit Bharat Stations'' scheme. Introduction Hyderabad Deccan railway station is a terminus, meaning the tracks go only in one direction. The station has 6 platforms. Platform No. 4 is the main platform that is directly located at the main entrance of the station, and is the first platform that one reaches after entering the station. ''Chennai Express'' is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Red Chillies Entertainment. East Coast Express
The 18045 / 18046 East Coast Express is a daily train that runs between Charlapalli (Hyderabad) and Shalimar (Kolkata). Earlier this train's terminating stations were Hyderabad Deccan and Howrah. From 2022 the terminal has been shifted from Howrah to Shalimar And on the other end from June 2025 Train Terminal has been shifted from Hyderabad Deccan to Charlapalli for decongesting the existing stations and to provide better service between Hyderabad and Kolkata. It is being operated with train numbers 18045/46 on a daily basis. Hyderabad–Mumbai Express
The Hyderabad Mumbai Express, also known as the Mumbai Express, is a daily train between Hyderabad and Mumbai. The train shares the rakes of Hussainsagar Express and follows the same route, though the latter is a superfast express. From Oct 1, 2022, the train has been reclassified as a superfast express with numbers 22731 (Hyderabad-Mumbai) and 22732 (Mumbai-Hyderabad) and upgraded to LHB coaches on 3 February 2023. The train departs from Hyderabad at 22:35 and reaches Mumbai at 13:05 PM. From Mumbai the train departs at 14:10 and reaches Hyderabad Deccan at 04:30 AM. This train makes a total of 22 halts including the destination points during the journey. Traction As the route is fully electrified it is hauled by WAP-4 of Vijayawada Shed from end to end. Hyderguda is a major locality in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is one of the costliest areas of Hyderabad with high real estate cost both for commercial and residential properties.
