Hyde Park, Ohio
Hyde Park is an affluent neighborhood on the east side of Cincinnati, Ohio. The population was 14,193 at the 2020 census. It is located on the eastern side of Cincinnati, approximately six miles away from Downtown Cincinnati. Much of the neighborhood is situated between Interstate 71 and the Ohio River. At the center is Hyde Park Square, which is within a 2-block area of Erie Avenue primarily bounded by Edwards Road on the West and Michigan Avenue on the East. The square features a park in the center surrounded by retail shops and restaurants. Its centerpiece is the Kilgour Fountain, which features a draped female figure with fluted basins. It was donated in 1900 by John and Charles Kilgour. The Graeter's Ice Cream parlor has been present on Hyde Park Square since 1938. In 2010, Forbes named Hyde Park one of "America's Best Neighborhoods", citing the education levels of its residents and its high concentration of shops and restaurants. Clark Montessori High School
Peter H. Clark Montessori Junior High and High School, usually referred to as Clark Montessori, is a junior and senior high school in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. The school had around 700 students in January 2018. It is in the Hyde Park–area woods, on the former estate of Ohio Governor Myers Y. Cooper (1929–1931), with trails in its "backyard". Recently completed in these woods is a small, ancient-Greek–style amphitheatre. The school had been located in its temporary home in Winton Terrace from the 2007/2008 school year until the 2011/2012 School year. However, Clark has been back into its permanent home on Erie Avenue, since 2012. Clark is a part of the Cincinnati Public Schools. Withrow High School
Withrow High School (originally East Side High School) is a public high school located on the east side of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is part of the Cincinnati Public Schools. History The school opened in 1919 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Frederick W. Garber's firm was involved in the school's design, known for its arching entry bridge, clock tower, plantings and trees, campus, and large sports complex. Academics Withrow High School students have received national recognition for their academic achievements. While Withrow has received the highest rating ("Excellent") on the Ohio standardized tests three times since 2004, their current rating, , is "Effective". Additionally, the school graduated 100% of its seniors and nearly all of them received college scholarships in 2006.
