Hussein Naeem
Hussain Hassan Naeem (; 19 March 1987 – 13 June 2007) was a Lebanese footballer who played as a forward. He was killed by a car bomb, alongside other victims, in an assassination attempt on Lebanese politician Walid Eido. Career Naeem joined the Nejmeh youth team on 2 November 2001, playing for the first team from 2006 until his death in 2007. Walid Eido
Walid Eido (; 2 April 1942 – 13 June 2007) was a member of the Current for the Future, Future Movement, Lebanese List of political parties in Lebanon, political movement and a member of the Lebanese Parliament. He was also a member of the March 14 Coalition. Early life and education Eido was born on 2 April 1942 to a Sunni Islam in Lebanon, Sunni Muslim family in the Bachoura neighborhood of Beirut. He graduated from Lebanese University with a degree in law in 1966, and became a magistrate in 1967. Career and activities Eido was a member of the Sunni Murabetoun militia during Lebanon's 1975-1990 Lebanese Civil War, civil war. In the late 1990s, he was north Lebanon's public prosecutor, but he had to resign for being able to go into politics and run for elections with Rafic Hariri. He was later named as President of the Beirut Court of Appeal, a role from which he resigned in 2000 to be a candidate to the parliamentary elections on the same year. Hussein Ali Dokmak (; 13 December 1981 – 13 June 2007) was a Lebanese footballer who played as a defender. He was killed by a car bomb, alongside other victims, in an assassination attempt on Lebanese politician Walid Eido. Career Dokmak joined Nejmeh on 21 May 1997, playing for them until his death in 2007. He was also called up to represent Lebanon internationally at the 2004 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, but didn't make an appearance. Rafic Hariri Stadium (), also known as Al Manara Stadium () or Nejmeh Stadium (), is a multi-use stadium in the Manara district of Beirut, Lebanon. It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as the home for Nejmeh. The stadium has a capacity of 5,000 spectators, as well as a VIP seats area that accommodates around 100 guests, a cafeteria, and a gymnasium.
