Humanity's Last Breath
Humanity's Last Breath is a Swedish deathcore band, formed in 2009 by guitarists Buster Odeholm (later known as the drummer for Vildhjarta and Thrown) and Kristoffer Nillsson. They released their debut EP ''Reanimated by Hate'' in 2010, and their self-titled debut album three years later. Their second studio album, ''Abyssal'', was released in 2019, and their third, ''Välde'', in 2021. In 2023, they released their fourth album ''Ashen''. ''Välde'' (Swedish for ''Empire'') is the third studio album by Swedish deathcore band Humanity's Last Breath. It was released on 12 February 2021, through Unique Leader Records. Music videos were released for the tracks "Vittring" and "Tide". "Glutton" was also released as a pre-release single on 7 January 2021. About the relation between the song titles and modern-day issues, guitarist/bassist Buster Odeholm explained, "When you watch the news and you see and hear the way we are going as the human race – it's kinda like 'yeah this is definitely not positive'. Polyrhythm () is the simultaneous use of two or more rhythms that are not readily perceived as deriving from one another, or as simple manifestations of the same meter. Meshuggah () is a Swedish extreme metal band formed in Umeå in 1987.
