Hullu Yö
Finland was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1991 with the song "", composed by Ile Kallio, with lyrics by Jukka Välimaa, and performed by Kaija Kärkinen, Kaija. The Finnish participating broadcaster, (Yle), selected its entry through a national final. Before Eurovision National final (Yle) held the national final at the Typhon Hall in Turku, hosted by Kati Bergman. Ten songs took part with the winner chosen by an "expert" jury, which included Tina Pettersson, who had represented with the group Beat, and veteran Finnish Eurovision conductor Ossi Runne. Other participants included former Finnish representatives Riki Sorsa () and Kirka (). At Eurovision On the night of the final Kärkinen performed 16th in the running order, following and preceding . Kaija Kärkinen
Kaija Kärkinen (born 9 September 1962) is a Finnish singer and actress. She represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 1991, with the song " Hullu yö", finishing 20th. Ilkka Tahvo "Ile" Kallio (born 18 November 1955) is a Finnish guitarist and singer. Kallio was born in Oulu, Finland. The Eurovision Song Contest 1991 was the 36th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, held on 4 May 1991 at Stage 15 of the Studios in Rome, Italy. Riki Sorsa
Esko Richard "Riki" Sorsa (26 December 1952 – 10 May 2016) was a Finnish pop singer. He started his career in 1974 as the lead singer in the band The Zoo. He represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 1981 with the entry " Reggae OK", a reggae influenced song in Finnish which came 16th (out of 20 countries). Heikki Veikko Harma (born 20 April 1947) is a Finnish singer-songwriter who has also distinguished himself as a translator of song lyrics, but has written popular lyrics of his own too. Veikko Olavi "Vexi" Salmi (; 21 September 1942 – 8 September 2020) was a Finnish lyricist. He wrote the lyrics to numerous popular songs for several prominent artists, including Irwin Goodman, Jari Sillanpää, and Katri Helena.
