''Huellas'' is a greatest hits album by Chilean singer Myriam Hernández. It was released on April 20, 2004, through EMI Odeon Chilena/EMI Latin. Background ''Huellas'' marks Hernandez' return to EMI, the label that launched her career, becoming her first album released with this label since 1992's ''Dos''. The album, produced by Hernandez herself, includes thirteen of her greatest hits, along with four newly-recorded tracks. While promoting the album, Hernandez stated "It is very valuable for me to release this record, which is not easy because sometimes it is more challenging than creating an album with 10 new songs. Myriam Raquel Hernández Navarro (born 2 May 1965) is a Chilean singer, songwriter and television presenter. She has dabbled mainly in romantic ballad, which is why she is sometimes nicknamed "La baladista de América" ("America's balladeer"), although she has also fused her style with other genres such as electronics or hip-hop. She began her musical career in the late 1980s with her album '' Myriam Hernández'' and the single " El hombre que yo amo" that reached No. 10 on Billboard's Hot Latin Tracks in 1989, while her first album reached No. 4 on Billboard's Latin Pop Songs the same year. Fabio Alonso Salgado, better known as Estéfano (born 19 August 1966 in Manizales, Colombia) is a Colombian musician, singer-songwriter and record producer. Along with Donato Poveda formed the duo Donato y Estefano, releasing three studio albums through 1995–1999. After the duo disbanded he went on to pursue a solo career with his album ''Código Personal: A Media Vida'' released in 2005.
