Huberto Pérez De La Ossa
Huberto Pérez de la Ossa Rodríguez (born Albacete, 1897– died Salamanca, 31 August 1983) was a Spanish writer and theatre director. His published work includes ''El ancla de Jasón'' (1921), ''La lámpara del dolor'' (1923), ''El opio del ensueño'' (1924), ''La Santa Duquesa'' (1924) ( Premio Nacional de Literatura), ''La casa de los masones'' (1927) and ''El aprendiz de ángel'' (1935). After the Spanish Civil War, he moved on to stage direction. Between 1940 and 1952, he collaborated with Luis Escobar Kirkpatrick at the Teatro María Guerrero in Madrid. Albacete
Albacete ( , , ) is a city and municipality in the Spanish autonomous community of Castilla–La Mancha, and capital of the province of Albacete. Artemio Precioso (writer)
Artemio Precioso García (1891 – 1945) was a Spanish writer, publisher and civil servant. He is known as the author of some 30 novels, published mostly in the 1920s and intended for popular audience. He contributed to numerous press titles and managed some usually ephemeral periodicals himself. Politically he was related to moderate left-wing republicanism; in 1934 he served as civil governor of the province of Toledo, and in 1934-1936 at the same post in Province of Lugo, Lugo. Family and early years Precioso was son to a well-off bourgeouisie family; his father owned some land property and minor metalworking establishments in the Province of Albacete, Albacete province. He studied law, first in Valencia and then in Madrid; it is during his academic period that he started to contribute articles to Madrid press.
