''Honour – Valour – Pride'' is the seventh album by the British death metal band Bolt Thrower. It was released in Europe on 19 November 2001, and in the United States on 15 January 2002. It was recorded and mixed at Sable Rose Studios in Coventry, June to September 2001. It was produced by the band and Andy Faulkner, and was released on Metal Blade Records in 2001. ''Honour – Valour – Pride'' is the only full length Bolt Thrower album not featuring Karl Willetts, and subsequently also their only album featuring Dave Ingram. Bolt Thrower were a British death metal band from Coventry. They formed in 1986 and released their first album with Vinyl Solution in 1988. The band then shifted to a new record label, Earache Records, soon becoming one of the best selling bands on that label. Their last label was Metal Blade Records. The band had a succession of members, and had toured Europe, the United States, and Australia. Over the course of their 30-year career, Bolt Thrower released eight studio albums, three EPs, one live album, three compilation albums and two demos. Their albums have sold over 100,000 copies in the United States as of 2005. Following the release of their eighth album ''Those Once Loyal'' (2005), Bolt Thrower announced an indefinite hiatus from recording albums in June 2008, although they would continue to tour until the death of drummer Martin Kearns on 14 September 2015 and their subsequent disbandment in 2016, on the first anniversary of his death. Jo Bench
Jo-Anne Bench is a British musician from Leamington Spa, who is best known as the Bass guitar, bassist for Bolt Thrower (band), Bolt Thrower. She has performed on all of the band's albums, but not on any of their demos. Noted for being one of few women in the extreme metal genre, Bench has been influential to a number of other female musicians in the genre. Bench joined the band in 1987, shortly after Gavin Ward (musician), Gavin Ward switched from bass guitar to guitar. At the time, she was Ward's long-time girlfriend and notable as one of a few female members in a commercially successful metal band. Bolt Thrower were active until 2016, when they decided to disband following the death of drummer Martin Kearns the previous year. Barry Thomson
Barry "Baz" Thomson is an English musician, best known for being the lead and rhythm guitarist for death metal band Bolt Thrower until their disbandment in 2016. He co-founded the band in 1986, and was also the main songwriter of the band. He remained in Bolt Thrower until they broke up in 2016, following the death of drummer Martin Kearns the year before. Martin Kearns
Martin Kearns (7 March 1977 – 14 September 2015) was an English drummer, specializing in death metal, known for his association with Bolt Thrower (band), Bolt Thrower since 1994. He joined the band at age 17 after playing in several local bands in Coventry, playing anything from Heavy metal music, metal to reggae, having been playing pub gigs since the age of 14. Bolt Thrower Kearns subsequently left for personal reasons in 1998, he returned to Bolt Thrower in 2000. Martin was the longest standing drummer for Bolt Thrower. He recorded drums on both the ''Honour-Valour-Pride'' album, and on ''Those Once Loyal'', the latter of which has been met with widespread critical acclaim from magazines such as ''Rock Sound'', ''Rock Hard (magazine), Rock Hard'' and ''Metal Hammer''. David Richard Bjerregaard Ingram (born 25 January 1969) is a death metal vocalist from Birmingham, England. He began his career replacing Mark Greenway, Mark "Barney" Greenway in UK death metal band Benediction (band), Benediction when Greenway decided to focus solely on Napalm Death. Ingram stayed with Benediction until March 1998, when he joined Bolt Thrower, officially replacing Martin van Drunen after having handled vocals temporarily for the band during a show on 4 July 1997 in Zwickau Germany. In 2004, Ingram left Bolt Thrower due to health problems, just prior to the recording of ''Those Once Loyal''. He later performed vocals on an album by Warlord UK and sang in his own band Downlord until the band disbanded in 2008.
