Honoré I, Lord Of Monaco
Honoré I or Onorato I (16 December 1522 – 7 October 1581) was Monaco, Lord of Monaco from 22 August 1523 to 7 October 1581. Life Honoré was the youngest child of Lucien, Lord of Monaco, Lucien Grimaldi (1487–1523) and Jeanne de Pontevès-Cabanes. He became Lord of Monaco at the age of 9 months, upon the assassination of his father on 22 August 1523. A regent was appointed for the young Lord in the form of his uncle, Augustine Grimaldi (1482–1532). Under Honoré’s father, Monaco had been a subject of France and its King, Francis I of France, Francis I. Hector Victor Honoré Jr. (September 9, 1905 in Pittsburg, Kansas – March 3, 1983 in Pana, Illinois), was an American racecar driver, mechanic and owner. Personal history He was born the son of a Belgian father a French mother from in Pittsburg, Kansas. Following the death of his father, Hector's mother remarried and the family moved to Christian County, Illinois. They eventually settled in the town of Pana, Illinois where he operated a mechanic shop for several decades. He was married and had three daughters. He was brother-in-law of noted Baptist Evangelist Robert Sumner. Racing career After a briefly driving his own cars, Honore reached his greatest success as a car owner and mechanic with a number of drivers behind the wheel. Philippe Honoré (born 21 March 1967) is a French violinist who has been a regular recitalist in France and the United Kingdom. He was appointed Violin Professor at the Royal Academy of Music in London in September 2012. He has performed widely in broadcast recitals on French radio and television. Life and career Honoré divides his busy schedule between solo work, chamber music, and collaboration with leading orchestras. He was a principal player with the Philharmonia Orchestra (from 2005 to 2011). After receiving top honours from the Paris Conservatoire and the Royal Academy of Music in London, he was made a Laureat of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation in France in 1992. Henry Hamilton Honoré (February 19, 1824 – August 16, 1916) was an American businessman. Early life Honoré was born on February 19, 1824, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the son of Francis Honoré (1792–1851) and Matilda D. (née Lockwood) Honoré (1803–1849). His siblings included Mary Ann Honoré, Benjamin Lockwood Honoré, and Francis Leonidis Honoré.
