Honorato Hernández (born 29 June 1956 in Salamanca) is a Spanish long-distance runner. He competed in the men's marathon at the 1988 Summer Olympics. Long-distance running, or endurance running, is a form of continuous running over distances of at least . Physiologically, it is largely Aerobic exercise, aerobic in nature and requires stamina as well as mental strength. Within endurance running come two different types of Respiration (physiology), respiration. The more prominent side that runners experience more frequently is aerobic respiration.
