Honeymoons (film)
''Honeymoons'' ( sr, italic=yes, Medeni mesec; sq, italic=yes, Muaj mjalti) is a 2009 Serbian-Albanian drama film directed by Goran Paskaljević. Synopsis Hoping for a better life, two young couples leave their respective countries. Maylinda and Nik leave Albania by boat to Italy, to live their forbidden love. Meanwhile, Vera and Marko leave Serbia by train for Austria, through Hungary. Marko, a talented cellist, is lucky enough to enter the famous Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. But when they arrive at the border, although they have visas in order, their problems begin. Goran Paskaljević
Goran Paskaljević ( sr-cyr, Горан Паскаљевић; ; 22 April 1947 – 25 September 2020) was a Serbian and former Yugoslav film director. Biography Born in Belgrade, he was raised by his grandparents in Niš in southern Serbia, following the divorce of his parents. Fourteen years later he returned to Belgrade where he worked with his stepfather at the Yugoslav Film Archive. Paskaljević belonged to a group of several Yugoslav filmmakers who studied abroad and graduated from the prestigious Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). After returning to Yugoslavia, he made some 30 documentaries and 16 feature films which were screened at many international film festivals (such as Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Toronto and San Sebastian) and met with critical acclaim. Yllka Mujo (born 15 October 1953) is an Albanian actress, especially known for her roles in Albanian movies during the communist regime. For her acting merits she was given the title Merited Artist of Albania. Life Yllka Muji (or Mujo) comes from an Albanian family that moved from Tuz, Kingdom of Yugoslavia (now Montenegro), to Shkodër during the Monarchist period. She was born in the capital Tirana and was sister of actor Agim Mujo (1955/1956–2019).
