Holy Cross College (HCC) () is a Catholic higher-secondary school for girls, located at Tejgaon in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It serves students of class 11 and class 12. It was founded in 1950 by the Sisters of the Holy Cross. Crest (heraldry)
A crest is a component of a heraldic display, consisting of the device borne on top of the helm. Originating in the decorative sculptures worn by knights in tournaments and, to a lesser extent, battles, crests became solely pictorial after the 16th century (the era referred to by heraldists as that of "paper heraldry"). The Jatiya Sangsad (), often simply referred to as Sangsad and also known as is the unicameral Legislature, legislative body of Bangladesh. The current parliament of Bangladesh contains 350 seats, including 50 seats reserved exclusively for women. Farah Mahbub (born 27 May 1966) is a Bangladeshi justice of the High Court Division. Early life and education Farah Mahbub's father, Mahbubur Rahman, is a senior advocate in the Supreme Court & former minister of Bangladesh. Farah Mahbub passed SSC from Viqarunnisa Noon School and College in 1983 and HSC from Holy Cross College in 1985. She completed her undergraduate degree and post graduation in law from the University of Dhaka. Career Farah Mahbub was enrolled as an advocate of the District Court on 15 September 1992. After her success in district court, she was enlisted in the High Court Division and the Appellate Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court on 9 April 1994, and 15 May 2002, respectively. Salma Masud Chowdhury (born 13 December 1957) is a Bangladeshi justice of the High Court Division. Early life and education She was born on 13 December 1957. Her mother is Aminun Nesa Khatun. Her father, Chowdhury A.T.M. Masud, was a justice of the High Court Division and president of the National Heart Foundation. She has a bachelor of law and a master of law.
