Holters Crossing is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Centre County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. The CDP is in northern Centre County, mostly in the southeastern part of Boggs Township and partly in the southwestern corner of Howard Township. It sits in the Bald Eagle Valley, on the south side of Bald Eagle Creek. Bald Eagle Mountain
Bald Eagle Mountain – once known locally as Muncy Mountain – is a stratigraphic ridge in the Ridge-and-Valley Appalachians of central Pennsylvania, United States, running east of the Allegheny Front and northwest of Mount Nittany. It lies along the southeast side of Bald Eagle Creek and south of the West Branch Susquehanna River, and is the westernmost ridge in its section of the Ridge-and-Valley Appalachians. The ridge line separates the West Branch Susquehanna Valley from the Nippenose and White Deer Hole valleys, and Bald Eagle Valley from Nittany Valley. Foster Joseph Sayers Reservoir
Foster Joseph Sayers Reservoir is a reservoir located near the borough of Howard, Pennsylvania. The lake is formed due to the damming of Bald Eagle Creek, a tributary of the West Branch Susquehanna River, as well as other smaller creeks. The dam was created in 1971 by the United States Army Corps of Engineers to prevent flooding and continue water quality down stream. The lake is named in honor of Foster Joseph Sayers, a World War II hero from the nearby town of Howard. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for his acts of bravery at the battle near Thionville, France, in 1944. Mount Eagle is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Howard Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 103.
