It is part of the Pensacola— Ferry Pass—Brent, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. Florida State Road 87 passes through the community. For almost all cases, the community of Holley, is considered to be a neighborhood or character area of the larger community of Navarre, Florida. This includes the community of Holley being included in the federally designated Holley-Navarre Census County Division, being served by the Holley-Navarre Fire District and Holley-Navarre Water System, and being included in the county election precinct exclusively designated for Navarre. Navarre is a census-designated place and unincorporated community in Santa Rosa County in the northwest Florida Panhandle. It is a major bedroom community for mostly U.S. military personnel, federal civil servants, local population, retirees and defense contractors. State Road 87 (SR 87; sometimes called the Navarre Beach Expressway, especially south of U.S. 90) is a north–south highway in the state of Florida that extends from U.S. Route 98 (US 98) to the Alabama state line where it becomes State Route 41. All of SR 87 is contained within Santa Rosa County. Route description State Road 87 contains a 19.4-mile (31.2 km) section extending northward from US 98 at Navarre, Florida to US 90 just east of Milton, Florida. Pensacola Metropolitan Area
The Pensacola metropolitan area is the metropolitan area centered on Pensacola, Florida. It is also known as the Pensacola–Ferry Pass–Brent Metropolitan Statistical Area, a metropolitan statistical area (MSA) used for statistical purposes by the United States Census Bureau and other agencies. The Pensacola Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area was first defined in 1958, with Pensacola as the principal city, and included Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
