Hitomi Kaji (加治ひとみ) is a Japanese pop singer, songwriter under the label Avex Trax. Biography In 2012 March, the new J-pop duo KAJI on the INTELLIGENCE performed their at the Yokohama Arena as the opening act during the 14th Tokyo Girls Collection 2012 SPRING/SUMMER on 3 March just before their official debut. The duo consists of sound producer Hayato Tanaka and singer-songwriter KAJI. They released their debut digital single KARADA on 4 April 2012. In 2014 September, avex held the TOKYO GIRLS AUDITION 2014. After going through various auditions and hardwork, Hitomi Kaji won the artist Grand Prix award. After which, her debut was decided and it was unveiled to 30,000 audiences on stage during the Tokyo Girls Collection 2015 SPRING / SUMMER. is a Japanese rock/jazz fusion duo consisting of core members , born May 9, 1978, and , born February 25, 1978, formed in 1999. Formerly with BMG Japan (bought by SMEJ in early 2009), they signed with Sony Music Japan's Ariola Japan label in September 2009. is a record label owned by Japanese entertainment conglomerate Avex Inc. The label was launched in September 1990, and was the first label by the Group. History Two years after Max Matsuura began a career distributing studio albums from other countries, he and his two Avex co-founders, Tom Yoda and Ken Suzuki, decided to found their own label. Aiming to compete with more established labels such as Nippon Columbia, Nippon Crown, BMG Victor, Victor Musical Industries, Toshiba-EMI, CBS/Sony, Teichiku Records, King Records, Nippon Phonogram and PolyGram K.K., they created the Avex Trax label. ''Go to the Top'' is the debut album by Japanese singer-songwriter Hitomi, released on September 27, 1995, by Avex Trax. The first press edition of the album came with the CD case housed inside a hardback case, similar to a book. The inside of the back of the case contains a mini-photobook. The RIAJ has certified it 2× platinum, recognizing over 500,000+ shipments throughout Japan. On the Oricon charts, the album's peak position was #3, and it stayed on the charts for eight weeks. History Hitomi had previously released two singles without much success.
