Hiroyuki Kakudō
is a Japanese anime director from Kitakyūshū, Fukuoka Prefecture. He graduated from Toyo University's Faculty of Letters. In 1978, while in college, he was a founding member of Group Ebisen, an independent animation production and screening group. He began working for Toei Animation in 1983, where he trained under Yugo Serikawa. He is best known for directing the first two ''Digimon'' series. NG Knight Ramune & 40
is a Japanese anime television series of 1990. It was one of the Ramune group of television shows and OVAs, and the "NG" in the title stands for "new generation". In all there were 3 OVA series (''NG Knight Ramune & 40 EX'', ''NG Knight Ramune & 40 DX'', '' VS Knight Ramune & 40 Fresh'') and a sequel anime television series ('' VS Knight Ramune & 40 Fire''). The original concept for the show was developed by Takehiko Ito, much of the story was written by Satoru Akahori, and the mecha design was done by Rei Nakahara. Bakusō Kyōdai Let's & Go!!
is a manga series created by Tetsuhiro Koshita, first serialized in Shogakukan's CoroCoro Comic magazine from July 1994 to October 1999. The manga centers on Retsu and Go Seiba, brothers who focus on the world of miniature car racing known as Mini 4WD. It is created as a tie-in to Tamiya's Mini 4WD franchise (Mainly Fully Cowled, Mechanical and Aero), and it is the second series to center on the franchise since Dash! Yonkuro. Three anime adaptations of the manga were produced by Xebec from 1996 to 1998, each of which consisting of three 51-episode series, and was also made into several games. The series also released various merchandise, including CDs, trading cards, stickers, and even die-cast cars. , originally known as , is a Japanese manga series created in 1960 by Shigeru Mizuki. It is best known for its popularization of the folklore creatures known as , a class of spirit-monster which all of the main characters belong to. This story was an early 20th-century Japanese folk tale performed on . It has been adapted for the screen several times, as anime, live action, and video games. The word in the title is similar to Japanese sound symbolism for a cackling noise but refers to Mizuki's childhood nickname, a mispronunciation of his given name.
