Hipertensão
''Hipertensão'' is the Brazilian version of Fear Factor, which premiered April 14, 2002 on the Rede Globo television network. The original Dutch version was called ''Now or Neverland''. The show pits contestants against each other to complete a series of stunts better and/or quicker than all the other contestants, by doing this in the fastest time, for a grand prize. The show was hosted by journalist Zeca Camargo in season 1 and was hosted by Glenda Kozlowski in seasons 2 and 3. Show Format Season 1: Hipertensão The season 1 format involved three men and three women, who had to complete three professional stunts to win R$50,000. If a contestant was too scared to attempt a stunt, failed to complete a stunt, or (in some cases) had the worst performance on a stunt, it was eliminated from the competition. José Carlos Brito de Ávila Camargo (8 April 1963), better known as Zeca Camargo, is a Brazilian television presenter, journalist and writer. He has a column in the ''Folha de S. Paulo'' newspaper. Glenda Gonçalves dos Reis Kozlowski (born 9 July 1974) is a Brazilian journalist, television presenter and former bodyboarder. She is best known as host of ''Esporte Espetacular'' and ''Globo Esporte''. Early life Glenda Kozlowski was born on 9 July 1974 in Rio de Janeiro to an English father and a Brazilian mother. ''Big Brother Brasil 1'', known at the time only as ''Big Brother Brasil'' was the debut season of ''Big Brother Brasil'', the Brazilian version of the international reality show '' Big Brother'', which premiered on January 29, 2002 on Rede Globo. Janeth dos Santos Arcain (, born April 11, 1969) is a Brazilian former professional women's basketball player. She played in the United States for the Houston Comets in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) from 1997 to 2005.
