Higor Meritão
Higor Matheus Meritão (born 23 June 1994) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for CRB, on loan from UNAM. He has previously represented a number of São Paulo state clubs in the lower divisions of the Campeonato Paulista, as well as a spell with Botafogo-PB in 2017. He made his debut in the national league in 2018 for Ferroviária in a 2018 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D match against Cianorte on 19 May 2018. 2019 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B
The 2019 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B was a football competition held in Brazil, equivalent to the second division. The competition started on 26 April and ended on 30 November 2019. Twenty teams competed in the tournament, twelve returning from the 2018 season, four promoted from the 2018 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C ( Botafogo-SP, Bragantino, Cuiabá and Operário Ferroviário), and four relegated from the 2018 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A ( América Mineiro, Paraná, Sport and Vitória).
