Polish Language
Polish (, , or simply , ) is a West Slavic languages, West Slavic language of the Lechitic languages, Lechitic subgroup, within the Indo-European languages, Indo-European language family, and is written in the Latin script. Hieronim Morsztyn
Hieronim Morsztyn (1581–1623) was a Polish poet. He is known as one of the earliest poets of the Polish baroque and sarmatism. His most popular poem is ''Światowa Rozkosz'' (Worldly Pleasure). Little is known about his life. Born in an Arian family to Florian Morsztyn and Zuzanna Łaska he was orphaned early and brought up by his uncle Samuel Łaski, the royal secretary. He attended a Jesuit college in Braniewo. During his later life he became associated with the magnates' courts in Lublin and Vilna. Morsztyn's major works are ''Światowa Rozkosz'' (Worldly Pleasure or Worldly Bliss, from 1606), ''Antypasty małżeńskie'' (Matrimonial Appetisers from 1650), and ''Summariusz wierszów'' (Compendium of poems), a collection of over three hundred poems, written between 1606 and 1613, but never published. Władysław Hieronim Sanguszko
Prince Władysław Hieronim Sanguszko (1803–1870) was a Polish nobleman, landowner, and conservative politician. Władysław participated in the November Uprising in 1830–1831. He was owner of Gumniśki estate and ran there an Arabian horse stud farm. From 1861 to 1869 member of the National Sejm in Galicia and member of the Herrenhaus. Mikołaj Hieronim Sieniawski (1645–1683) was a Polish noble (szlachcic), military leader and politician. Prince Michał Hieronim Radziwiłł (; 1744–1831) was a Polish nobleman, politician, diplomat and member of the Polish–Lithuanian Radziwiłł family. He was an '' ordynat'' of Kleck, Olyka and Niasvizh, Great Sword-bearer of Lithuania from 1771, castellan of Vilnius from 1775, voivode of Vilnius from 1790, '' starost'' grabowski, komorowski, kraszewicki, and miksztadzki. Hieronim Radziejowski
Hieronim Radziejowski (1612 — 8 August 1667) was a Polish szlachcic, noble, politician, diplomat, scholar and a military commander. He was the starost, governor of Sochaczew since 1643 and Deputy Chancellor of the Crown, Vice-Chancellor of the Crown between 1650 and 1652. He also served as Sejm Marshal, Marshal of the Sejm from 13 February to 27 March 1645 in Warsaw. He came into conflict with King John II Casimir when he found out that his wife, Elżbieta Słuszka was the King's femme fatale, mistress. Radziejowski started to conspire against the King with the Ottoman Empire, enemies, and as a result was sentenced to infamy and banishment (exile) in 1652 by the Sejm Tribunal. He left Poland for Sweden, and convinced the Swedish to attack the Commonwealth.
