Hernán Mendoza
Hernán Mendoza is a Mexican actor and theatre director best known in his native country for his roles in Mexican films, and telenovelas. in 2017 he won as Best Actor in a Minor Role for his role of Palafox in the film ''The 4th Company'' in the 59th Ariel Awards. Early career Mendoza was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. He is the son of the late Theatre director, theater director Héctor Mendoza, and brother of the renowned director and composer Rodrigo Mendoza. He studied acting at the Centro de Educación Artística of Televisa. After that, he entered the Nucleus of Theater Studies evaluated by Julio Castillo and Luis Fernando de Tavira Noriega. 59th Ariel Awards
The 59th Ariel Awards ceremony, organized by the Academia Mexicana de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas, Mexican Academy of Film Arts and Sciences (AMACC) took place on July 11, 2017, at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. During the ceremony, AMACC presented the Ariel Award in 27 categories honoring 2016 in film, films released in 2016. The ceremony will be televised in Mexico by XEIMT-TDT, Canal 22. ''The 4th Company, La 4ª Compañía'' was the most awarded film with 10 awards including Best Picture. Tatiana Huezo became the first female director to receive the Best Director award, for the documentary feature ''Tempestad'', which also received three awards. ''The Perfect Dictatorship'' () is a 2014 Mexican black comedy political satire film, written, produced and directed by Luis Estrada and starring Damián Alcázar, Alfonso Herrera, Joaquín Cosío, Dagoberto Gama, María Rojo and Salvador Sánchez. ''La Paloma'' (English title: ''The Dove'') is a Mexican telenovela produced by José Rendón for Televisa in 1995. Gerardo Hemmer and Maite Embil starred as protagonists.
