Herb Gray
Herbert Eser Gray (May 25, 1931 – April 21, 2014) was a Canadian lawyer who became a prominent federal politician. He was a Liberal member of parliament for the Windsor area over the course of four decades, from 1962 to 2002, making Gray one of the longest-serving members in Canadian history. He was a cabinet minister under three prime ministers and was the seventh deputy prime minister of Canada from 1997 to 2002. Gray was Canada's first Jewish federal cabinet minister, and he is one of the few Canadians granted the honorific ''The Right Honourable'' who was not so entitled by virtue of a position held. Early life and education Gray was born in Windsor, Ontario, the son of Fannie (née Lifitz), a nurse, and Harry Gray, who had a business selling yard goods. Brian S. Masse (born July 9, 1968) is a Canadian politician. He served in the House of Commons of Canada from 2002 until the 2025 Canadian federal election, representing the riding of Windsor West as a member of the New Democratic Party. Early life and career Masse was born in Windsor, Ontario. He graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology in 1991. Essex West was a federal electoral district in the province of Ontario, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1925 to 1968. This riding was created in 1924 from parts of Essex North riding. Robert Douglas George "Bob" Stanbury, (October 26, 1929 - February 10, 2017) was a Canadian public servant, lawyer and former politician, journalist and corporate executive. Background Stanbury was born in Exeter, Ontario, on October 26, 1929. His father was a country lawyer who was keen on politics. André Ouellet
André Ouellet (), (born April 6, 1939) is a former longtime Liberal federal politician and Cabinet member in Canada. Following his political career, he served as chairman of Canada Post. First elected to the House of Commons of Canada in a 1967 by-election, Ouellet served in a number of different positions in the cabinets of Prime Ministers Pierre Trudeau and Jean Chrétien.
