Henriett Koósz
Henriett Koósz (born 14 February 1980 in Kőszeg) is an Austrian para badminton player and former wheelchair tennis player. As a member of the Austrian Paralympic wheelchair tennis team, she competed at the 2012 Paralympics in London. In 2016, she represented Austria in para-badminton at the Austrian Open. In 2013, she was awarded the MiA award by the Österreichische Bundes-Sportorganisation, Austrian Federal Sports Organisation. Early life and career Koósz was born in Hungary. She has been paraplegia, paraplegic since a car accident in October 1997. She started without previous knowledge with wheelchair tennis at the age of 24. In December 2005, she started her participation in international and national tournaments. In 2007, she played in the B squad and in 2010 was taken into the A-squad of the Austrian national wheelchair tennis team. Kőszeg
Kőszeg (; ; ; ; ) is a town in Vas County, Hungary. The town is known for its historical character. History Medieval Period The origins of the only free royal town in the historical garrison county of Vas (Eisenburg) go back to the third quarter of the thirteenth century. It was founded by the Kőszegi family, a branch of the Héder (genus), Héder clan, who had settled in Hungary in 1157 AD. Sometime before 1274 Henry I Kőszegi, Henry I and his son Ivan Kőszegi, Ivan moved the court of the Kőszegi, a breakaway branch of the family, from Güssing to Kőszeg (Güns). For decades, the town was the seat of the lords of Kőszeg (Güns). Only in 1327 did Charles Robert of Anjou finally break the power of the Kőszegi family in Western Transdanubia, and a year later, in (1328), elevated the town to royal status. Karin Suter-Erath
Karin Suter-Erath (born 24 November 1970) is a Swiss para badminton player and a former wheelchair tennis player. Suter-Erath was a very keen handball and soccer player when aged 13 and played in European handball leagues from the ages of 17 to 27. She studied physical education at university and became a secondary school teacher once she graduated. In 1997, Suter-Erath was paralysed from the waist down in an accident which caused her to stop playing handball. While in rehab in Nottwil, she tried out wheelchair tennis and when she completed her rehab then she took the sport up professionally. In 2004, Suter-Erath teamed up with Sandra Kalt and competed in the 2004 Summer Paralympics and won their first ever Paralympic medal in the women's doubles.
