Helio André
Helio André (born 3 December 1992), was a footballer who played as a forward for Rochdale in League One. He has played four games for Burscough and Ashton United after a spell at Cammell Laird FC. He made his debut for Dale on 7 August 2010 in the Football League One clash with Hartlepool United which ended in a 0–0 draw, coming on as a substitute for Joe Thompson at Spotland Stadium. He followed this up with a second appearance for the club in a Football League Trophy match on 31 August 2010 coming as a half-time substitute in a match against Port Vale. The English Football League Trophy, officially known as the Vertu Trophy for sponsorship reasons, is an annual English football knockout competition open to all clubs in EFL League One and EFL League Two and U-21 teams from the Premier League and the EFL Championship. Launched in the 1981–82 football season as the Football League Group Cup, it was a replacement for the Anglo-Scottish Cup, which had been discontinued after the withdrawal of Scottish League clubs. Joseph Thompson (5 March 1989 – 17 April 2025) was an English professional footballer who played as a midfielder for Rochdale, Tranmere Rovers, Carlisle United, Southport and Bury. Hartlepool ( ) is a seaside and port town in County Durham, England. It is governed by a unitary authority borough named after the town. The borough is part of the devolved Tees Valley area with an estimated population of 92,600. The old town was founded in the 7th century, around the monastery of Hartlepool Abbey, on a headland. As the village grew into a town, in the Middle Ages, its harbour served as the County Palatine of Durham's official port.
