''Hekimoğlu'' is a Turkish medical drama and Television comedy, comedy television series that ran on the Kanal D TV channel for two seasons, from December 17, 2019, to May 25, 2021. The series were produced by the companies Karga Seven Pictures and OJO Pictures. The series is based on the American medical drama ''House (TV series), House'' and, consisting of 2 seasons, ended with its finale, 51st episode, which was released on May 25, 2021. Production The series is shot at Istanbul Okan University, Okan University Hospital in Tuzla, Istanbul. Plot The series' main character, Ateş Hekimoğlu (based on Gregory House) is a famous doctor specializing in infectious diseases (medical specialty), infectious diseases and nephrology. He is emotionally distant from his patients, believes in scientific findings rather than what is being told, loves puzzles, and is very pragmatic, neglecting hospital rules and laws when it comes to diagnosis and treatment. Tuzla, Istanbul
