Heinz Baas
Heinrich "Heinz" Baas (13 April 1922 – 6 December 1994) was a German Association football, football player and manager. Baas began his career with Duisburger SV in 1945, and went on to play for Eintracht Frankfurt, Kickers Offenbach and SV Darmstadt 98. As a manager, he was in charge of 1. FSV Mainz 05, KSV Hessen Kassel and Karlsruher SC in the Fußball-Regionalliga, Regionalliga divisions, and also managed SC Freiburg in the 2. Fußball-Bundesliga Süd (1974–1981), 2. Bundesliga Süd. The Regionalliga () is the fourth tier in the German football league system. Until 1974, it was the second tier in Germany. In 1994, it was introduced as the third tier. Kickers is a youth brand created in 1970 in France that produces a wide range of footwear and clothing. Kickers was bought in 2007 by the Royer group. Kickers are primarily popular amongst British school children, with Kickers 'Lo' style shoes being a popular choice of school shoes for British boys attending secondary school.
