Hausen () is a Municipalities of Germany, municipality in the Miltenberg (district), Miltenberg district in the ''Regierungsbezirk'' of Lower Franconia (''Unterfranken'') in Bavaria, Germany and a member of the ''Verwaltungsgemeinschaft'' (Administrative Community) of Kleinwallstadt. Bad Krozingen
Bad Krozingen (; Alemannic: ''Bad Chrotzige'') is a spa town in the district Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated 15 km southwest of Freiburg. In the 1970s, the previously independent villages Biengen, Hausen an der Möhlin, Schlatt and Tunsel, including Schmidhofen, became part of Bad Krozingen. Geography Location Bad Krozingen is located in Breisgau, about 15 km southwest of Freiburg and 45 km north of Basel, surrounded by corn and tobacco fields. Christian August Hausen (1693–1743) was a German mathematician who is known for his research on electricity. Biography Hausen studied mathematics at the University of Wittenberg and received his master's degree in 1712. Hausen is a large Lunar craters, lunar impact crater that lies along the south-southwestern limb of the Moon. It was named after German astronomer Christian August Hausen, Christian A. Hausen by the International Astronomical Union, IAU in 1961. The visibility of this crater is significantly affected by libration effects, although even under the very best of conditions it is viewed nearly from on edge. It lies along the western edge of the immense walled plain Bailly (crater), Bailly. To the northeast is the crater Pingré (crater), Pingré on the near side, and to the north is the Arrhenius (lunar crater), Arrhenius just on the Far side (Moon), far side of the lunar limb.
