"Hasta Que Te Conocí" ("Until I Met You") is a song by Mexican singer-songwriter Juan Gabriel. It was released in 1986 as the third single from his studio album '' Pensamientos''. Written and produced by Gabriel, the song's lyrics focus on a protagonist learning the meaning of suffering after meeting a lover who mistreats him. It peaked at number two on the ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Song chart. A live version of the song was included on his album ''En el Palacio de Bellas Artes'' (1990) which peaked at number ten on the Hot Latin Songs chart. The National Symphony Orchestra (, OSN) is the most important symphony orchestra in Mexico. RMM Records, also known as RMM Records & Video Corp, was an independent Latin music (genre), Latin music record label established in 1987 and based in New York City. The label was most active during the late 1980s and early 1990s and produced primarily salsa, Latin jazz, and Merengue music, merengue music. Salsa Music
Salsa music is a style of Latin American music, combining elements of Cuban and Puerto Rican influences. Because most of the basic musical components predate the labeling of salsa, there have been many controversies regarding its origin. Most songs considered as salsa are primarily based on son montuno and son cubano, with elements of cha-cha-chá, bolero, rumba, mambo, jazz, R&B, bomba, and plena. All of these elements are adapted to fit the basic Son montuno template when performed within the context of salsa. Originally the name salsa was used to label commercially several styles of Hispanic Caribbean music, but nowadays it is considered a musical style on its own and one of the staples of Hispanic American culture. Braulio Antonio García Bautista (; born 22 July 1946 in Santa María de Guía de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands), better known as Braulio, is a Spanish singer-songwriter. He began his career in 1971, debuting in a local festival with a song called "Mi amigo el pastor". He represented Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 1976 with the song " Sobran las palabras" ("Words are unnecessary"). He placed 16th in a field of 18.
