Hassania Union Sport d'Agadir () commonly referred to as Hassania Agadir and known as l'Hassania, or simply as HUSA, is a Moroccan football club based in Agadir. The club was founded on 22 December 1946. It plays its home games at Adrar Stadium. History Early years (1946–1963) Hassania Union Sport d'Agadir was founded on 22 December 1946 by a group of patriots against French colonialism, and more particularly by Ahmed Kabbage, Abbas Kabbage, Hassan Oulhaj Akhannouch and Lahoucine Bijaouane, who are considered the founding fathers of the team. The founders chose a color for the team represented by two colors, red and white, and named it El Hassania, the name that expresses their adherence to their Moroccan identity. Adrar Stadium
Adrar Stadium (; (Adrar means mountain in Tamazight); ), is a multi-use stadium in Agadir, in the Souss-Massa region in the country of Morocco, near the Atlas Mountains, in North Africa, and is used as a home venue by the local football team, Hassania Agadir. It is also sometimes used for the Moroccan national team and for other FIFA and CAF international football matches as a neutral venue. The construction project began on paper in 2003, with the idea of building the stadium for Morocco's failed 2006 FIFA World Cup bid. In 2007, the project resumed, but it was only completed in time for its inauguration in 2013, the 2013 FIFA Club World Cup that year. It has also hosted the 2018 African Nations Cup. CAF Confederation Cup
The CAF Confederation Cup, known as the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup for sponsorship purposes, is an annual association football football team, club competition established in 2004 and organized by Confederation of African Football, CAF. Clubs qualify for the competition based on their performance in their national leagues and cup competitions. It is the second-tier competition of African club football, ranking below the CAF Champions League. The winner of the tournament faces the winner of the aforementioned competition in the following season's CAF Super Cup. Aurel Țicleanu (born 20 January 1959) is a Romanian football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Playing career Club career Țicleanu began his youth career with Metallurgistul Sadu in 1974. He was quickly spotted there by manager Constantin Oţet who brought him to Universitatea Craiova in 1976. He made his professional debut at age 17 with Craiova during the 1976–77 season. Țicleanu spent nine seasons at the club, and won the league title twice, in 1980 and 1981, also reaching the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup in 1983. Marcel Pigulea (born 24 May 1943) is a Romanian former football player and manager. Playing career Marcel Pigulea was born on 24 May 1943 in Albulești, starting to play junior level football in 1955 at Progresul Strehaia, after a while starting to play for the senior squad. In 1961 he went for two years at Dunărea Giurgiu, followed by one season at Flacăra Roșie București and another at Metalul București, all of them being in the lower leagues of Romania. Ion Oblemenco (13 May 1945 – 1 September 1996) was a Romanian football player and manager who spent the majority of his playing career with Universitatea Craiova. A prolific striker, he is known for finishing four seasons as top goalscorer in the Romanian top division, Divizia A. With a total of 170 goals in 272 appearances, he is the sixth highest-scoring player in the history of the competition.
