Hasan Tahsin Gökcan
Hasan Tahsin Gökcan (born February 2, 1965) is a Turkish judge. He graduated in 1987 from Ankara University Faculty of Law. He started his career as a candidate for Ankara judgeship, then served as Fındıklı, Tuzluca and Bozüyük judge and then as a Court of Cassation examining judge. On February 24, 2011, he was appointed as a member of the Court of Cassation and while he was a member of the 4th Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation, he was among the candidates nominated by the general assembly of the Court of Cassation for the membership of the Constitutional Court of Turkey and was appointed as a member of the Constitutional Court of Turkey by President Abdullah Gül Abdullah Gül (; ; born 29 October 1950) is a Turkish politician who served as the 11th president of Turkey from 2007 to 2014. The Ankara University, Law School ( formerly known ''Ankara Adliye Hukuk Mektebi'' or ''AUHF'') is the faculty of law at Ankara University in Turkey. History Ankara University, Law School was established as part of Turkey's legal reforms, spearheaded by Mahmut Esat Bozkurt. The school was inaugurated by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, on November 5, 1925. Constitutional Court Of Turkey
The Constitutional Court of Turkey ( Turkish: ''Anayasa Mahkemesi'', sometimes abbreviated as ''AYM'') is the highest legal body for constitutional review in Turkey. It "examines the constitutionality, in respect of both form and substance, of laws, decrees having the force of law, and the Rules of Procedure of the Turkish Grand National Assembly" (Article 148/1 of the Turkish Constitution).
