Harris Township is one of thirteen townships in St. Joseph County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. As of the 2000 census, its population was 19,873. Harris Township was organized in 1836. A civil township is a widely used unit of local government in the United States that is subordinate to a county, most often in the northern and midwestern parts of the country. Milton Township is a civil township of Cass County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 3,878 at the 2010 census, up from 2,646 at the 2000 census.
