Hans-Jürg Fehr
Hans-Jürg Fehr (born 1948) is a Swiss politician and was from 2004–2008 the president of the Social Democratic Party of Switzerland. He was succeeded by Christian Levrat. The Social Democratic Party of Switzerland (, SP; ), also called the Swiss Socialist Party (; , PS), is a List of political parties in Switzerland, political party in Switzerland. Christian Levrat
Christian Levrat (born 7 July 1970) is a Swiss politician. He served as the President of the Social Democratic Party of Switzerland from 2008 until 2020. He has served as a member of the Council of States from Fribourg since 2012. Prior to the Council of states, He was a member of the National Council in from 2003 to 2012. He became Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swiss Post in 2021. Levrat was born in La Tour-de-Trême, now part of Bulle in the Canton of Fribourg. He earned a bilingual law degree from University of Fribourg and a master's degree at the University of Leicester. He has citizenship in Pont ( Veveyse), Le Crêt, Esmonts et Siviriez. In 2008, he was elected as the President of the Social Democratic Party, succeeding Hans-Jürg Fehr, who resigned after a weak showing in the 2007 Swiss federal election. Elections to the Swiss Federal Assembly, the federal parliament of Switzerland, were held on Sunday, 21 October 2007. In a few cantons, a second round of the elections to the Council of States was held on 11 November, 18 November, and 25 November 2007. Hans Fehr
Hans Fehr (; born 14 January 1947) is a Swiss educator, publicist and politician who served on the National Council (Switzerland) for the Swiss People's Party from 1995 to 2015. He previously served on the Cantonal Council of Zurich from 1991 to 1995 until he was elected to National Council in the 1995 Swiss federal election. In the 2023 Swiss federal election, his daughter, Nina Fehr Düsel, was elected to National Council. Life Fehr was born 14 January 1947 in Berg am Irchel in the Zurich Highlands. He completed the Winterthur Cantonal School in 1967 and studied teaching at the Teaching Seminary of Zurich from 1967 to 1969 and from 1972 to 1974. Until 1984, Fehr was a secondary school teacher in Flaach and Eglisau.
