Hannah Gablać (born 25 February 1995) is a German field hockey Field hockey (or simply referred to as hockey in some countries where ice hockey is not popular) is a team sport structured in standard hockey format, in which each team plays with 11 players in total, made up of 10 field players and a goalk ... player. Career National teams Gablać debuted for the German national team in 2013, and played in 2013 EuroHockey Championships where the team won gold. She was part of the Germany women's junior national team at the 2016 Hockey Junior World Cup in Chile. In 2018 she participated in the Hockey World Cup where the German team came fifth. Club hockey Gablać currently plays for Der Club an der Alster in the German Bundesliga. Previously she represented KTHC Rot-Weiß. Women's Feldhockey Bundesliga
The Feldhockey Bundesliga is the top level of women's field hockey in Germany and is organized by the German Hockey Federation. The league ranks second European women's league rankings. It was established in 1940. Format The season starts in August or September and is interrupted by the indoor hockey season from November to March. From April the outdoor season will be continued. Since the 2011–12 season the league was played by twelve teams who played each other twice and who competed for four spots in the championship play-offs. The number one and four and the number two and three played each other in the semi-final and winners qualified for the final where the winner was crowned champion. The two last-placed teams were relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga. For the 2019–20 season the German Hockey Federation introduced a new format. The 2018 Women's Hockey World Cup was the 14th edition of the Women's Hockey World Cup, a field hockey tournament. It was held from 21 July to 5 August 2018 at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in London, England. Defending champions the Netherlands won the tournament for an eighth time after defeating Ireland 6–0 in the final, who claimed their first World Cup medal. Spain won the third place match by defeating Australia 3–1 to claim their first World Cup medal as well. The 2016 Women's Hockey Junior World Cup was the 8th edition of the Women's Hockey Junior World Cup. It was held from 24 November to 4 December 2016 in Santiago, Chile. Argentina women's national field hockey team, Argentina won the tournament after defeating 2013 Women's Hockey Junior World Cup, defending champions the Netherlands women's national field hockey team, Netherlands 4–2 in the final. This was the first time Argentina had won the Junior World Cup since the 1993 tournament in Terrassa, Spain.
