Kiyoteru Hanada
was a prominent Japanese literary critic and essayist. Hanada is widely acclaimed as one of the most influential advocates and theorists of the postwar avant-garde art movement. Jukki Hanada is his grandson. Biography Hanada was born in the Higashi Kōen district of Fukuoka, Japan on March 29, 1909, and grew up as an only child. The Japanese warlord Mōri Terumoto was a direct ancestor, and it had long been the standard practice in his family to include the character "teru" (輝) in male names. Hanada studied at Kyoto Imperial University from 1929 to 1931. While at university, Hanada became totally devoted to the philosophy of home-grown Japanese fascist Nakano Seigō. is a Paralympic swimmer from Japan. He competed mainly in S4 freestyle events. Yuji competed as part of the Japanese Paralympic swimming team at the 2004 Summer Paralympics where he was part of the 4x50m freestyle squad that finished fourth and also the squad that finished second in the 4x50m medley behind the games record set by Brazil. , born , was a Japanese professional sumo wrestler from Hirosaki, Aomori. Making his debut in May 1965, his highest rank was '' ōzeki'', which he reached in November 1972. He then went on to hold the rank for what was then a record fifty tournaments, before retiring in January 1981. Heike Hanada (born 1964) is a German architect. Hanada has been working as a free artist and a teacher of architecture since 1999 at Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany. On 16 November 2007, Hanada's proposal ''Delphinium'' won the international architectural competition on the grand expansion of the Stockholm Public Library, one of architect Gunnar Asplund's most important works. Stockholm Public Library Extension Hanada defeated five other finalists from Denmark, Italy, Finland, Lithuania and the United Kingdom in the competition to expand the famed rotunda library building by Asplund, which opened in 1928.
