Hamhŭng Grand Theatre
The Hamhung Grand Theatre () is a theatre located in Hamhung, North Korea. It is the largest theatre building in the country. The building is used for major live theatrical productions by the revolutionary opera troupe. The foyer inside features a large mural of the current leader Kim Jong-un and his father Kim Jong-Il. The theatre was constructed in 1984. Hamhŭng (''Hamhŭng-si''; ) is North Korea's List of cities in North Korea, second-most populous city, the capital of South Hamgyong, South Hamgyŏng Province and the 16th largest city in the Korea, Korean Peninsula. Located in the southern part of the South Hamgyong province, Hamhung is the main and most populous metropolitan area in the province. Hamhung was Urban planning, centrally planned and built by the government of North Korea. Kim Jong-un
Kim Jong Un (born 8 January 1983 or 1984) is a North Korean politician and dictator who has served as supreme leader of North Korea since 2011 and general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) since 2012. He is the third son of Kim Jong Il, who was the second supreme leader, and a grandson of Kim Il Sung, the founder and first supreme leader of North Korea. From late 2010, Kim was viewed as the successor to the North Korean leadership. Kim Jong-Il
Kim Jong Il (born Yuri Kim; 16 February 1941 or 1942 – 17 December 2011) was a North Korean politician who was the second supreme leader of North Korea from the death of his father Kim Il Sung in 1994 until his death in 2011, when he was succeeded by his son, Kim Jong Un. Afterwards, Kim Jong Il was declared Eternal General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).
