Jens-Halvard Bratz
Jens-Halvard Bratz (21 April 1920 – 19 January 2005) was a Norway, Norwegian business executive and government minister with the Conservative Party of Norway, Conservative Party. He served as Norwegian Minister of Industry from 1981–1983. Jens-Halvard Bratz was born at Aker, Norway, Østre Aker in Oslo, Norway. He was a student at Oslo Commerce School (''Oslo Handelsgymnasium'') (1940) with continued studies in England and the United States (1945-1946). Bratz was married in 1946 to Sissel Lie (1922-1983) and was a son-in-law of Trygve Lie, who served as the first Secretary-General of the United Nations#List of Secretaries-General, Secretary-General of the United Nations. In 1941, he was first employed at the ironworks firm Grorud Jernvarefabrikk in Groruddalen followed by various positions with the firm. Halvard Hanevold
Halvard Hanevold (3 December 1969 – 3 September 2019) was a Norwegian biathlete. Career Hanevold won medals in biathlon events at the 1998 Winter Olympics and the 2002 Winter Olympics by winning his first Olympic gold followed by another gold four years later. He won the bronze medal in the men's 20 km individual and the silver medal in the men's 10 km sprint at the 2006 Winter Olympics. He won the last medal of his Olympic career in the 4 × 7.5 km relay at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. Hanevold participated in 16 World Championships from 1994 to 2009. He was a part of the team in 1993 in Borovets as a reserve, but did not participate in any races. In his career, he recorded 40 podiums at World Cup level, with the last podium being in the final race of his final season. Hanevold retired after the 2009–10 season. Halvard Magne Kausland (25 April 1945 – 21 December 2017) was a Norwegian jazz guitarist and civil servant. Biography He hailed from Sund. He received his education from the ''Norges kommunal- og sosialhøgskole'', Agder Regional College and the University of Bergen. On 20 September 1996 it was announced that Kausland had been appointed as acting director of the Arts Council Norway from 1 November 1996 to 31 March 2000; however, Kausland withdrew three days before actually assuming the post. He was later chief administrative officer () of Vestfold County Municipality. Kausland was also a well-known jazz guitarist, having played in the band of Ole Paus among other things. He was manager of the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History from 1975, and was appointed adjunct professor at the University of Oslo from 1984, promoted to professor in 1990. Halvard Grude Forfang (24 December 1914 – 6 July 1987) was a Norwegian educator. He was born in Bærum as a son of chemical engineer Einar Forfang (1881–1950) and Agnes Grude (1885–1958). He was a nephew of Karen Grude Koht. His home environment was marked by the ''norskdom'' movement; his family was a member of Noregs Mållag. He finished his secondary education at Stabekk Municipal Higher Education School in 1934, and took the cand.philol. degree at the University of Oslo in 1941. He worked as a teacher in Hartmann's boarding school in Asker and Lillehammer Municipal Higher Education School. Later he started to work in the Nansen Academy from 1946 to 1971. Halvard Olsen (23 January 1886 – 5 August 1966) was a Norwegian politician and trade Union leader. Olsen was born in Kvæfjord Municipality. He chaired the Norwegian Union of Iron and Metal Workers from 1919, and then the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions from 1925 to 1934. He was also deputy chairman of the Communist Party of Norway and the first holders of this post. Halvard Manthey Lange (16 September 1902 – 19 May 1970) was a Norwegian politician and diplomat, who served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1946-1963 and again from 1963-1965. He was also the longest serving Foreign Minister to date, having served a total of 19 years. He became a member of the Labour Party in 1927. Two years later, in 1929, he earned a Master of Arts degree. He worked as a teacher 1930-35 and lectured at the University of Oslo 1935-38. He was arrested by the Nazi German occupying forces in 1942 and spent the rest of the war in various concentration camps. He was the Norwegian foreign minister from 1946 till 1965, except for a month in 1963 during the administration of John Lyng. Halvard Ingebrigtsen (born 23 September 1970) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He finished his secondary education in Trondheim in 1989. While he served through his compulsory military service from 1990 to 1991 he was also a national board member of the Workers' Youth League and deputy leader in Sør-Trøndelag. For the next year he led the organization in Trondheim. Between 1992 and 1995 he was deputy leader, then leader of the Youth against the EU.
