Hajredin Çeliku
Hajredin Çeliku (May 4, 1927 – June 2005) was a former Albanian politician of the Albanian Party of Labour. He was a member of the Albanian Parliament, Politburo of the Party of Labour of Albania, and served as member of the Cabinet of Albania. Life Çeliku was born in Peshkopi, Diber District in the Albanian Republic on 4 May 1927. During World War II he was active in the Young Communist Movement; after the war became member of Albanian Worker Party in 1947. Vangjel Çërrava
Vangjel Çërrava (born 1941) is an Albanian politician of the Albanian Party of Labour (PPSh). He was member of the Albanian Parliament, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Albania, and for a short time member of the Politburo of the Party. Biography Çërrava, who initially carried over functions in the economic sector, became in 1978 a representative in the People's Assembly (Alb: ''Kuvendi Popullor''). He remained on this function during the ninth to the eleventh legislative terms which ended in 1991 with the fall of communism in Albania. In October 1982, he became a member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Party. In this position, he took part in 1985 at the state funeral of Enver Hoxha. Prokop Murra
Prokop Murra (24 November 1921 – 9 September 2005) was an Albanian politician of the Albanian Party of Labour (PPSh). Early life Murra was born on 24 November 1921 in Tirana, and studied economics. He joined the Albanian Communist Party in 1943 and fought during World War II as a partisan of the National Liberation Movement (Albania), National Liberation Movement. He initially worked as a functionary of the party in the economic sector, and petroleum industry. In 1956 he became member of the Central Committee of the Party. Rise in the party In 1962, he was elected for the first time as representative in the Parliament of Albania, People's Assembly, and remained such until the fifth legislature ending in 1966. Pali Miska
Pali Miska (19 May 1931 – September 2009) was an Albanian politician of the Communist Era. He served as Chairman of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania from 22 November 1982 to 19 February 1987. Miska was first as a party functionary in Fushë Arrëz, the largest Albanian state enterprise for timber production. In 1970, he was elected first-deputy of the People's Assembly (Alb: ''Kuvendi Popullor''), and served as member from the seventh to the end of the eleventh legislative term until 1991. In 1971, he became candidate of the Central Committee (CC) of the selected PPSh, and simultaneously the First Party Secretary in Pukë District in northern Albania. In September 1975, Miska succeeded the demised Koço Theodhosi as member of the Politburo of the Party of Labour of Albania without previous candidate status. Qirjako Mihali (13 May 1929 - 7 April 2009) was an Albanian politician of the Albanian Party of Labour. He was a candidate-member of the Politburo of the Party of Labour of Albania, Minister of Finance, and member of the Albanian Parliament. Biography Mihali began his career as a functionary of the Party of Labour in the business sector, most recently from 1967 to 1975 he was Director of Nitrogen Producing Plant ("Azotik") in Fier. In January 1975, he became for candidate-member of the Politburo of the Party. He held this position until his retirement in December 1990. Together with Hekuran Isai, Pali Miska, and Llambi Gegprifti, Mihali represented a new generation of leaders within the Party, which gain power with the termination of relations with the People's Republic of China.
