Ha! Ha! River (Gros-Mécatina)
The Ha! Ha! River (from ''ha-ha'', unexpected obstacle on a road) constitutes the outlet of the Plamondon Lake reservoir, flowing in the municipalities of Côte-Nord-du-Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent and Gros-Mécatina, in the Le Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent Regional County Municipality, in the administrative region of Côte-Nord, in Quebec, in Canada. A carriage road connecting route 138 goes north from Saint Lawrence estuary shore to the dam at the head of the Ha! Ha! River. The economy of the sector is mainly dependent on hydroelectricity thanks to this dam. The surface of the Ha! Ha! River is usually frozen from the beginning of November to the beginning of May, however the safe circulation on the ice is generally done from the end of November to the end of April. Petit Lac Ha! Ha!
Petit lac Ha! Ha! (, ) is a freshwater lake in the Ferland-et Boilleau municipality, in the administrative region of Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. It is located on the east side of Lake Ha! Ha! into which it drains. The southern portion of the lake is served by Route 381, which cuts the lake at the peninsula attached to the north shore, then heads northwest to the Northwestern part of Lake Ha! Ha!. Forestry is the main economic activity of the sector, followed by recreational tourism. The surface of Petit lac Ha! Ha! is usually frozen from late November to early April. The Baie des Ha! Ha! (English: Ha! Ha! Bay) is located in the municipality of Gros-Mécatina, in the Le Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent Regional County Municipality, on the north shore of Gulf of Saint Lawrence, in the administrative region of Côte-Nord in eastern Quebec, Canada. Geography The Baie des Ha! Ha! is located on the north side of the village of La Tabatière and Baie-Rouge. The entrance to the Baie des Ha!
